A Hill Called Calvary is an Easter extravaganza showing Christ’s last days on earth, the miracles He performed, His death and His resurrection.  Some of the scenes will include the healing of the lame and blind, the Last Supper, Pilate’s Judgment Hall, the Scourging, the Crucifixion, and the Resurrection.

With a beautifully costumed cast, the audience will imagine themselves to be back in Biblical times.  Well done is the modest dress of the townspeople, the opulent garb of Herod and Pilate, the bold colors and helmets of the soldiers, the flowing robes of the accusers, and the simplicity of the disciples.

The audience will also experience the screams of the crowd, the jeers of the accusers, the compassion and love of Christ, and the pain He suffered, not to mention the beautiful music, exquisite scenery, and timely narration.

The production lasts approximately two hours and brings to life the real meaning of Easter – the resurrection of Christ!

Originated and written by the late Rev. Hugh Isaacs, A Hill Called Calvary has been produced at Trinity Gospel Temple for over 30 years.
